It's move-in day for Green Mountain Software and Empower Mobility.
Green Mountain Software has a new home at the Innovation Center of Vermont. 128 Lakeside Ave., Suite 104, Burlington VT 05401 to be exact.
We’re co-locating with Empower Mobility, a local company that also specializes in mobile computing (we’ve worked extensively with owner Tom Jaros since 1997).
The benefits of working alongside a colleague and his company are many: sharing of technical expertise most of all.
As board members of the Vermont Software Developers Alliance, Tom and I have talked extensively about developing technology innovation centers throughout the state — and what it could do for Vermont.
Put enough of us in one locale focusing on similar technologies— share critical resources when it makes sense— and concentrate the brain power in one huge think tank— and who knows the kind of synergy that will develop?
